SAANYS is proud to announce a series of workshops dealing with an issue on everyone’s mind – the effects of bullying on our students and schools. This unique workshop series kicked off on December 1 at the SAANYS office in Latham.
Nearly 70 Capital Region school administrators heard from New York State Police Outreach Coordinator George Murphy about the laws surrounding bullying, cyberbullying, and sexting. The program also included time to learn about Olweus – the research-based and successful bullying prevention program being used worldwide.
